Master fiddler, Gordon Stobbe, teaches, mentors and performs across Canada and in the Canadian North. His 3-volume “Canadian Old-Time Fiddle Hits” books are considered one of the best collections of Canadian fiddle tunes. He has published a number of other tune and instructional books for fiddlers. Some books are available in ‘print’ form and others in ‘eBook’ form.

The book come either with CDs or online access to audio files of all the tunes. This is a great resource at jams. The book is published in different editions (Fiddle; Guitar, Bass, Mandolin and Dobro).
Note: If you just want the standard musical notation and don't need the tablature; order the Fiddle edition. Since there is no tablature, they type is much larger and easier to read.

This book provides a large collection of of the tunes played in today’s jam sessions. Great as a help during a jam or as a resource to learn jam tunes.
Unique to this book: Twenty-nine of the tunes are traditionally played in G or A. Many of these have be adapted by dulcimer players in the key of D. In these cases, Dave has included an arrangement in D and a second arrangement in either G or A.
